Mead starts season with win against Frederick

The Mead Mavericks gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Frederick as Mead made off with a 4-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mead also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.
They hit Frederick with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Katy Adler (2),
Reese Ormsby, and
Elena Gomez.
Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Mead will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horizon at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Frederick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thornton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
