They fell just short of the Hustlers by a score of 3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hustlers 25-11 in the first set.

Calvary Chapel Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (101-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 11-25, 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 15-8.

Meanwhile, City of Life Christian Academy got the win against New Dimensions on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The Warriors haven't had any issues with New Dimensions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-19.

Calvary Chapel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for City of Life Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.

Calvary Chapel Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against City of Life Christian Academy in their previous meeting on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
