Flag Football Game Preview: Prescott Badgers vs. Dysart Demons + How To Watch

The Prescott Badgers will face off against the Dysart Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prescott is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Prescott is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Mingus, who was ranked seventh at the time (Prescott was ranked fifth). The Badgers' defense stepped up to hand the Marauders a 19-0 shutout on Monday. The Badgers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last five matchups.

Prescott had a senior duo take command as Rianna Aguilar rushed for 32 yards and one touchdown and Aubrey Kitahata picked up 98 receiving yards and one score. Kitahata really caught the secondary sleeping when she pulled down a catch that went for 85 yards.

One reason for the win was Prescott's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Lucy Zembik was the leader with two. She also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

Meanwhile, Dysart didn't have quite enough to beat Thunderbird on Tuesday and fell 9-6.

Prescott's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Dysart, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
