The Menifee County Wildcats walked away with a 58-51 win over the Knott County Central Patriots. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Menifee County's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Knott County Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Menifee County Wildcats take on the Boyd County Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Knott County Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-31 victory against Cordia on the 1st.
