Desert Edge waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Washington Rams 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

One reason for the win was Desert Edge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Washington lost, don't look at Alexander Benitez Lopez. Despite the final result, he had ten digs.

Desert Edge's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Desert Edge will venture away from home to challenge Youngker at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Washington, they will head out to take on Glendale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
