Basketball Recap: Cimarron-Memorial Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Cimarron-Memorial had won two straight home games and Daniel Brown did his part to make it three on Monday. The Cimarron-Memorial Spartans blew past the Western Warriors 80-51 thanks in part to Brown, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gerald Patterson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Cimarron-Memorial has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Western, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Cimarron-Memorial and Valley will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cimarron-Memorial surely won't give up without a fight. As for Western, they and Desert Oasis will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
