Football Recap: Woodlands Takes a Loss

Woodlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Irvington Bulldogs. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Woodlands' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Irvington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Woodlands is taking a road trip to take on Hastings at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Irvington, they will welcome Rye Neck at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
