The Puyallup Vikings will head out to square off against the Bonney Lake Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Puyallup is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.
Puyallup's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Fife as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Kiera Thomas was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. In other pitching news, Kelsey Brown looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She also put up two walks, which were her first of the season.
Back at the plate, Kayla Ringenbach was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Paisley Jamison also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, Bonney Lake suffered their biggest loss since May 16, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Graham-Kapowsin, falling 11-1. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Panthers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.
Bonney Lake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hallie Beers, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Puyallup now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bonney Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Puyallup's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. The Vikings have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Bonney Lake, though, as they've been averaging only 0.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Puyallup continue to outrun the ball?
