Baseball Recap: Regents Knights vs. Bishop Dunne Falcons

Regents won against Brentwood Christian on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Knights beat the Bishop Dunne Falcons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. Considering the Knights have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jack Buerkle was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
