Baseball Game Preview: Harmony Area Owls vs. Glendale Vikings

Harmony Area is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will venture away from home to take on the Glendale Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Harmony Area came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Ferndale, falling 15-1.

Harmony Area saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Maseto, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to Moshannon Valley.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Harmony Area, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Harmony Area's way against Glendale in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Harmony Area made off with a 14-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Owls since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
