With a playoff win on the line, South Sevier rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Beaver Beavers by a score of 6-3. The Rams are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 30 straight.
South Sevier let Kinley Phelps and Caitlin Nielson run wild. Phelps went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Nielson went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
South Sevier's victory bumped their record up to 30-1. As for Beaver, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 25-10 record.
