King's Fork had won four straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 8-1 to make it five. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Indian River Braves. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Braves, too.

Isiah Gilliam produced another solid performance rushing for 103 yards and one TD.

King's Fork's run defense was locked in: Indian River could only muster 2.9 yards per carry. The Bulldogs' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.7.

As for Indian River, they moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Indian River lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lord Malik Heru, who threw for 171 yards and one touchdown. 85 of those passing yards were hauled in by Donovan Brown, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
