Basketball Game Preview: Bensalem Fighting Owls vs. Neshaminy Skins

The Bensalem Fighting Owls will head out on the road to challenge the Neshaminy Skins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bensalem knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Neshaminy likes a good challenge.

Bensalem is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Abington by a score of 69-61 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Neshaminy had just enough and edged Harry S. Truman out 57-54 on Friday.

Bensalem is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Neshaminy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Bensalem didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Neshaminy when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 57-52 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Neshaminy's Max Currie, who went 7 of 11 en route to 14 points and three blocks. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Bensalem still be able to contain Currie? There's only one way to find out.
