Basketball Game Preview: Abramson Commodores vs. Independence Tigers

The Abramson Commodores will square off against the Independence Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Abramson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Abramson is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Carver Collegiate Academy just ended the team's 13-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 62 points the game before, Independence was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a blow against French Settlement, falling 65-10. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Abramson, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-2.
