Recap: Spring Woods Tigers vs. Klein Oak Panthers
The Spring Woods Tigers were the 72-64 winner over the Klein Oak Panthers when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Spring Woods ended up on the wrong side of a rough 62-37 walloping at the hands of Klein Oak on Friday. While losing is never fun, Spring Woods can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1049th, while Klein Oak is ranked 394th).
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaelin Bargas, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Trae Pickens, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Spring Woods and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Klein Oak, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.
Spring Woods will be playing at home against Alief Hastings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein Oak's road trip will continue as they head out to face Dekaney at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th.
