Basketball Recap: Marengo Takes a Loss

Marengo lost against Woodstock back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marengo Indians took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodstock Blue Streaks. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marengo's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Woodstock, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marengo will challenge Johnsburg at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodstock, they will take on Belvidere at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
