Orion scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 88-80 to the Rock Falls Rockets. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Orion lost, don't look at Kyler Owens. Despite the final result, he went 16 of 30 en route to 37 points and eight boards. The game was Owens' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddux Arnold, who posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Orion's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Rock Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Orion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-42 win against Riverdale on the 17th. As for Rock Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-65 victory against Mercer County on the 18th.
