Softball Recap: Churchill Takes a Loss

Churchill lost against Crater back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers came up short against the Comets, falling 12-4. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abigail Wiscovich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Jenna Stone was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Crater, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

While Churchill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
