After a string of three wins, Wayne's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They fell  62-50 to the Sidney Red Raiders. While the Blue Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Red Raiders  18-13 in the first  quarter.
 Wayne lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Gavin Redden, who  posted 13  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colson Nelsen, who  scored ten points.
Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Sidney, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record  this season.
As of now, neither Wayne nor Sidney have any future games scheduled.
