Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-4 to the Steilacoom Sentinels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-12 loss last Wednesday.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Steilacoom, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Washington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 loss against Chief Sealth on the 29th. As for Steilacoom, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Fife on the 1st.
