Fruitport had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 48-35 win over the Western Michigan Christian Warriors on Tuesday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 62-60 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fruitport will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Cedar Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Western Michigan Christian, they will host Muskegon Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
