Basketball Recap: Western Find Success

Western won the last time they faced Del Sol and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Western Warriors snuck past the Del Sol Dragons with a 53-48 win.

Del Sol's loss came despite strong showings from James Heath and Jaeden Alexander. Heath went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points along with six boards and four steals, while Alexander posted 15 points and eight rebounds. Alexander is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played. Arthas Casille also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Western's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Del Sol, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Del Sol has already played their next match (against Eldorado), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
