Basketball Game Preview: Midway Falcons vs. Gold-Burg Bears

The Midway Falcons will challenge the Gold-Burg Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Midway is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Forestburg just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gold-Burg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Prairie Valley by a score of 57-50 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Gold-Burg's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Midway, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Everything came up roses for Midway against Gold-Burg when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 66-37 victory. Does Midway have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gold-Burg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
