Bloom won the last time they faced Thornridge and things went their way on Monday too. The Blazing Trojan blew past the Falcons 18-1. The Blazing Trojan might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.
Halie Walter made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Walter was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nayla Nardi, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Aryana Knaack was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.
