Softball Recap: Provo Comes Up Short

Provo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Timpanogos Timberwolves, falling 16-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Provo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Timpanogos, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Provo will welcome American Leadership Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.17 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Timpanogos, they will be playing at home against Hurricane at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
