Baseball Recap: Grant Park Takes a Loss

Grant Park lost against Clifton Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dragons fell 8-4 to the Comets. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nolan Olthoff made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. He has become a key player for Grant Park: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-10 otherwise.

Grant Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Clifton Central, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

While Grant Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
