Blaine has gone 9-0-1 against Mt. Baker recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Borderites will look to defend their home court against the Mountaineers at 1:00 p.m. Mt. Baker took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Blaine, who comes in off a win.

Blaine will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Oak Harbor, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Borderites blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Wednesday. The contest marked the Borderites' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Anacortes, falling 3-0.

Blaine's win bumped their record up to 6-10-1. As for Mt. Baker, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12-2.

Blaine was able to grind out a solid victory over Mt. Baker when the teams last played on October 7th, winning 3-1. Do the Borderites have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mountaineers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
