Volleyball Recap: Juniata Takes a Loss

Juniata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Southern Huntingdon County scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-17.

Juniata's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Southern Huntingdon County, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Juniata wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy on the 13th. As for Southern Huntingdon County, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against West Branch on the 16th.
