Flag Football Recap: Eastlake Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Eastlake, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They secured a 12-6 W over the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Titans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 512th, while the Crusaders are ranked 132nd).

Eastlake's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.7 points over those games. As for Mater Dei Catholic, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.
