Basketball Game Preview: Scituate Spartans vs. Toll Gate Titans

Scituate is 1-6 against Toll Gate since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Scituate Spartans will get right back to it and host the Toll Gate Titans at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Scituate ended up a good deal behind Ponaganset and lost 65-49. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Toll Gate narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Exeter-West Greenwich 67-65. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Scarlet Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Scituate better keep an eye on Damola Oremosu. He was instrumental in Toll Gate's win, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. Will Goodine was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Toll Gate's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Scituate, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Scituate might still be hurting after the 57-37 defeat they got from Toll Gate in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Scituate avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
