Softball Recap: Lafayette County Takes a Loss

Lafayette County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Hermitage Hermits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hermits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in April.

Lafayette County's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hermitage, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Lafayette County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hermitage, they will face off against Emerson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
