Basketball Game Preview: Wilson Tigers vs. Darlington Falcons

The Wilson Tigers will take on the Darlington Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Wilson was able to grind out a solid victory over Lakewood, taking the game 51-43. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won four in a row.

Zoey Miller had an outrageously good game as she posted 23 points along with six boards and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Spears, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Darlington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-47 victory over the Knights.

Darlington pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.
