Metropolitan came tearing into Wednesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Townsend Harris Hawks 64-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Metropolitan also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Metropolitan pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Townsend Harris, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-1.
