Adding to the longest winning streak in North Central III (8 Man) this week, Mendocino beat Point Arena 72-28. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
The Pirates fell to Mendocino 72-28 last week, the largest margin of any game. Joby Baker was a bright spot for Point Arena, as he ran for 70 yards in the defeat.
Rincon Valley Christian's Daniel Maples and Morgan Guiesponi led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Maples has thrown for 1,478 yards this season, while Guiesponi has 41 catches for 959 yards. Cody Cissna from Tom Iliffe's team leads the league in rushing with 1,154 yards.

The Cardinals made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 234 from 291. The improvement was the result of a 72-28 victory over the Pirates last week.
