Football Recap: Richardson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Richardson lost against Plano back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 10-7. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Wildcats are ranked 194th).

Chance Culley was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Plano, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richardson will head out to take on Lake Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plano, they will venture away from home to face off against McKinney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
