Baseball Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast fell victim to Champion and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Golden Flashes by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Pirates couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Champion, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8.

While Southeast had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
