Baseball Recap: Mason Classical Academy Find Success

Mason Classical Academy proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 16) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks. The victory continues a trend for the Paladins in their matchups with the Shamrocks: they've now won three in a row.

Brady Admonis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cruz Bazler, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Mason Classical Academy's record now sits at 5-6. As for Donahue Catholic, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
