Soccer Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

Atlantic and Space Coast squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Atlantic had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Space Coast Vipers by a score of 4-3. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Vipers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Atlantic hit Space Coast with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Daniel Villanueva, Jose Salazar, and Eli Remsburg.

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-2. As for Space Coast, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7-1.

Atlantic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Space Coast, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Cocoa Beach on the 29th.
