Recap: Moberly Spartans vs. Kirksville Tigers
The Moberly Spartans lost against the Kirksville Tigers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Moberly took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kirksville. Moberly has not had much luck with Kirksville recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bj Godreau, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Cameron Doubrava was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Moberly has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Kirksville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Hannibal the next time they take the court. Kirksville will host Hannibal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Moberly will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
