Basketball Recap: Lyndhurst Comes Up Short

Lyndhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kearny Kardinals. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Kardinals are ranked 98th).

Lyndhurst's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Kearny, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Lyndhurst didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-34 defeat against Pompton Lakes on the 5th. Kearny has also already played their next contest (against Lyndhurst), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
