Volleyball Recap: Hernando's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hernando waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Tupelo Golden Wave by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on August 2nd.

The win didn't come easy: Tupelo scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Hernando's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Tupelo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Coming up, Hernando will head out on the road to take on DeSoto Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tupelo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lewisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
