Tony Phillips Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sadly, Tony Phillips posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Christian over Hamilton on Friday. Phillips rushed for 150 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Phillips and Christian will welcome Wayland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian is 5-0 against Wayland going back to October of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
