Baseball Recap: Alto Comes Up Short

After flying high against New Summerfield back in March, Alto came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Frankston Indians on Tuesday, falling 24-1.

Alto has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Frankston, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Alto is taking a road trip to take on New Summerfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Frankston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Avalon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
