Oswego and Yorkville are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Foxes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (Oswego has four wins , while Yorkville has five dating back to last season).

Oswego can attribute much of their success to Memphis Huguley, who rushed for 86 yards and one score, and Jezhian Sprinkle, who rushed for 92 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Oswego was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Yorkville got themselves on the board against Plainfield East on Friday, but Plainfield East never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bengals 28-0. The game marked the Foxes' most dominant win of the season so far.

Yorkville's win came from a few key players Oswego will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Gavin Geegan, who rushed for 79 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries. T.J. Harland was another key back, rushing for 108 yards on only 12 carries.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Yorkville's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Dillon Viscogliosi, James Sapp Jr., and Tyvon Wilson, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Yorkville's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Oswego, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-0.
