Recap: Marshall Christian Academy Guardians vs. Mt. Enterprise Wildcats
On Thursday, it was a hard-fought game, but Marshall Christian Academy had to settle for a 36-33 defeat against Mt. Enterprise. Marshall Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Guardians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Melody Hester, who scored 9 points. Hester scored a full 27.3% of Marshall Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Hester, who scored 7 points.
Marshall Christian Academy has yet to win a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 4-3 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Mt. Enterprise, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall Christian Academy will take on Westwood at 11:10 a.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Enterprise, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garrison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
