Basketball Recap: Escanaba Takes a Loss

Escanaba was the 52-49 winner over Gladstone when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Escanaba Eskymos took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladstone Braves.

Escanaba dropped their record down to 10-14 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Gladstone, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

Escanaba does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gladstone, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Kingsford at 6:00 p.m. Kingsford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matches -- so hopefully Gladstone likes a good challenge.
