Coral Reef waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 67-57 win over the Ransom Everglades Raiders. Given the Barracudas' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Raiders are ranked 357th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coral Reef's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Ransom Everglades, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coral Reef won't have much time to rest: their next game is against South Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ransom Everglades, they will take on Coral Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
