Basketball Game Preview: Central Dragons vs. Cambria Heights Highlanders

The Central Dragons will venture away from home to take on the Cambria Heights Highlanders at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.

Central is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Greater Johnstown just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 75-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Trojans are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Cambria Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Portage, falling 60-37.

Cambria Heights' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
