Brimfield has gone a perfect 6-0 against Farmington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Farmers at 4:30 p.m. Brimfield will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Saturday, Brimfield made easy work of West Prairie and carried off a 13-3 victory. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kaeden Schatsiek, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brady Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Farmington owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They came out on top against Illini West by a score of 5-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Farmers.
Landon Crawford was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI.
Crawford wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bronson Atchley, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Farmington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Illini West only managed two hits.
Farmington's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Brimfield, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Brimfield has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Farmington struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Brimfield's way against Farmington in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Brimfield made off with a 15-5 win. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Farmers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
