 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Baylie Ciremele, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Sophie Subka, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, La Jolla Country Day fell victim to Tri-City Christian and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. Their  rough  13-0 defeat to the Eagles  might stick with them for a while.
 Classical Academy pushed their record up to 4-1 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for La Jolla Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
